Chance Project

My three randomly chosen words are, 'behind'(theme), 'Horrible'(attitude), 'Character' (form).

As a starting point I created a mind map which helped me to start creating thumbnail sketches of ideas.

I chose my third idea which was the most literal. I was going to look at the human body 'behind' the skin, I would look at ways to create muscles and nerves using make-up and prosthetics.

I created a mood board of colours and textured that I could use and take inspiration from to create my make-up design.

I also mono printed onto paper and cardboard to again look at textures that I could create.

I used sections from my mono printing on my final design as they looked like veining. I also combined wire and tissue paper.
