Art Evaluation

I found the art project brief more directed compared to the media one. The element of chance helped me to start generating ideas from the very beginning.

My work is always more 3D based so it was a change to try to think of ideas for photography and video. I struggled initially to think of an idea that I could create a series of for my 'final' work. However as I started to experiment I found that I wasn't focusing as much on a final outcome which helped me to be more playful with materials and methods.

Overall, I feel that the project was helpful as it forced me to be more free with my ideas and not focus as much on the final outcome, which is what i've been doing in past projects.
