Design Spaces

The first part of the design day was to create a piece that was 3D and had a space inside. My group were given the window which was where the piece must fit and be be displayed.

We took inspiration from the shape of the window and also thought of dreamcatchers. The materials we used were inspired by the light that was coming through the window.

With this shape we then had to create an architectural piece. We went with the idea of a children's shop design.

From this design we were asked to create a clothing piece. We chose a hat and took inspiration from the shape of the roof and the materials that were used for the ladder.

I think this design day helped to make me start thinking of 3D shapes and spaces.
