Life Sculpting

For the life sculpting day I made an armature from soft wood using a band saw and a screwdriver. I added a wire structure stuffed with news paper to the top to give the head a better shape to sculpt onto.

To start the sculpt I built up the shape of the skull using thumbs of clay and blending them together using the sculpting tools. I then added the shape of the face and eventually added the finer details of the face.
