Dagger Design and Process

For the design of the dagger I took inspiration from the medieval era. I chose to make the dagger from a soft wood, this will make it easier to sand down into a rounded shape. I will decorate the dagger using paints and gem stones.

I created a stencil and drew this onto the soft wood. I used a band saw to cut the shape and then sanded it down.

I used acrylic paint to add my design to the wood.
