Design Development

I started by creating a mood board for 'The Love Witch' and the theme of love and lust, including reference images sketches and colours that will help me through the rest of my project.

I then started to look for a 'story' that the images could tell. I also found some quotes from the love witch that could go along with the images to help tell the story.

In the first image we will show a vision that the main character 'Elaine' has, this will include tarot cards and a face of a man. We will take separate images of the different elements and use Adobe Photoshop to edit them together to create the image.

The second image will be the two 'lovers' meeting which will be more psychedelic. The vivid colours coming from Elaine will contrast to the grey silhouette of the man showing the difference in emotions that they are both feeling.

For this image we will show the man distant in the shadows and Elaine will be at the front of the image with a focus on the make-up.

The last image will involve a stab wound make-up on the chest which will be nearest the camera. In the background will be Elaine holding a bloody heart and a dagger.
